| Ski Point |
| Ski Point is our most popular day use area with sun and shade for your enjoyment. Picnic tables, a pavilion, and a sand vollyball court add options for your use. A lot of room to play and great new people to meet! |
|
| Heated Fishing Dock |
 |
Our fishing dock is open and the fishing is great. Get out of the sun in the summer or the cold in winter and enjoy year-round fishing! Construction continues on the parking lot and walkway but it doesn't bother the fish! |

| Lake Side Convenience Store |
In this aerial view of the docks area we can see the fuel dock. The two buildings in the picture are the Oklahoma State sailing club building and the convenience store. Water sports are the fastest growing use of the university's lake.

| Boating |
 |
Lake Carl Blackwell is an excellent lake for water skiing, water biking, boating, and swimming. Swimming areas are designated by bouy markers and boats/jet skis are not allowed inside the designated areas. The best place for watching water sports as well as taking part in them is Ski Point recreational area.
With a 3 lane, lighted ramp built in the Fall of 2003, Lake Carl Blackwell now has four active ramps for your convenience. Please note the locations on the Park Area Map. |
| |
| The more traditionally family oriented swimming area is located just across the road from the lake store. Its gradually sloping bank allows easy access to children and folks with any type of handicap. This area also is bouyed off from water traffic. Pine Grove has a sand beach and the newly expanded Ski Point area is a great place for water play! |
